These counterweights are threaded male/female so you can attach one to the other as you need. This counterweight system is the key to unlocking new configurations possibly without the need for arm extensions, tilt extensions and pan extensions. Or if your trying to balance large odd camera configurations on a extended Ronin or MōVI. Works in conjunction with our PRO Dovetail and Pan balance mounts.

PRO Dovetail System
As you can see by the “T” shape the rear portion contains a series of 3/8″ threaded holes that allow you to spin-on our threaded weights to counter act heavy lenses/mattebox. By doing this you are also adding bottom counter weight to help counter act top heavy camera builds. This might eliminate the need for arm extensions and a tilt arm extension!
Ronin PAN Balance Counterweight Mount
By using the PRO Ronin Dovetail Counterweight Mount, you can avoid buying arm extensions, but as you add weight to the gimbal you might run out of PAN balance adjustment. What is needed is out weight mount so you can screw in our counterweights and be able to perfectly balance your Ronin.
