*** Update on “Ronin Versions” ***
In mid 2015 DJI slightly changed the Ronin and started shipping a second generation. There were just a few slight changes, none of them affected functionality.
Mainly the PAN extension “tabs” mounts where changed from square to angled. As seen in the picture below.
We of course offer PAN extensions in BOTH versions! But the easiest way to check which version you have is just to look at your tilt motor -left arm. If it is made from a single piece then it is GEN.2 or if you see bolts and a seam it is GEN.1
