The thread hole is reinforced with a stainless steel helicoil.
The standard screw is a custom 3/8" stainless steel screw, which is locked with a hex screw on the side (except the 19mm 1.5"/3.81 cm length rod. This is made from one piece).
If you need a 1/4" screw for Lenzsticks, we sell them separately.
The thread holes on both sides are 3/8".
The rods are hollow all the way to make them as lightweight as possible.
