Description

This convenient 3D printed Silica Gel pot holder is especially designed to be used in the film and photo industry. The pod holds up to 34 grams of re-usable Silica gel. When the Silica is ready for use, the color is orange. When it's saturated it turns blue/green. To re-generate, simply put the contents (not the pod) in an oven tray and heat up to a maximum of 80°C until the color changes to orange. Ideal for camera bags, camera cases, lens cases, or anything with expensive equipment you want to keep dry and safe from fungus, rust, and moist. One pod can protect a closed bag/case of max. 75-80 liters. When you have a bigger bag/case just add an extra pod to your kit accordingly. Due to the use of re-usable Silica Gel, the pod is an eco-friendly alternative instead of the one-time-use sachets. A lot of sachets end up in landfills and eventually in the sea destroying the environment.
